We are a friendly, dedicated and experienced team of professionals at Oxon Energy. Most of our work is carried out by our in-house team but there are instances when we bring in fully qualified, fully insured, experienced sub-contractors who we've vetted and trust implictly.

The Oxon team are all serious about renewables... but there's more to us than work!

JOE POLLOCK

Director

Joe founded Oxon Energy in 2014 as he wanted to run his own business concentrating on renewable heating and hot water solutions, with an aim to make it more affordable and readily available for the domestic end user.

On completing his heating and plumbing apprenticeship, Joe went on to roles in management and design within the M&E industry, completing his Building Services Engineering HNC in 2013.

Originally from Scotland, Joe is a Rangers supporter and plays regular five-a-side football whilst putting himself through the pain of supporting the Scottish national team.

Contrary to popular myth, Joe did NOT feature in the 2021 Love Island line up.

TOM WICKENS

Technical Coordinator

Tom is head of Oxon Energy's engineering team. He has worked in plumbing and heating since 2011.

Tom is responsible for the Oxon Energy apprentice scheme and mentors and teaches up and coming plumbers and renewable installers.

Tom is a keen triathlete and spends his free time road cycling and mountain biking.

He was runner up in Bracknell's Got Talent 2014 with his urban street dance crew "Dangermou$e" - they have since split up due to creative differences. Tom has recently taken up extreme scootering.

HARRISON CROWE

Heating Engineer

After leaving the forces in 2018, Veteran Harry began learning the trade in the Oxon Energy apprenticeship scheme.

When he's not working Harrison can usually be found commiserating his beloved Brentford FCs latest loss.

He also enjoys mountain biking, crochet and going to craft fairs. His favourite TV show is "anything with Kirsty Alsop".

TYLER EARLEY

Heating Engineer

Tyler joined Oxon Energy in 2021. Having previously completed an NVQ in plumbing and an apprenticeship at a traditional plumbing firm, Tyler wanted to pursue a career in renewable installations and move away from fossil fuels.

Tyler's main passion is riding his motorcross bike and walking his dogs, Mila and Nala. A massive Disney fan, Tyler's favorite film is the Lion King.

ANNA CAO (ANOTHER MOTHER)

Marketing & Business Development Manager

Anna joined the team in 2019 and is responsible for marketing and general business development. She also manages the Oxon Energy social media accounts.

As a youth, Anna was a dedicated cheerleader and captained the Chiltern Edge flyers.

These days she loves hiking and adventure racing and competes in an all women endurance team called "FATBAG".

KARIN BRUISING

Admin Manager (on Maternity Leave)

Karin is from Sweden but has lived in Henley for 8 years. She's in charge of the Oxon Energy customer experience and is always willing to help!

In her spare time she loves walking her dog and always has a craft project on the go.

It's not widely known but Karin's the lead singer in a Scandi-Hard Rock band called Förnybar Rage who had a top 40 hit in 2001.

TANIA BEVIS

Project Coordinator

Tania spent 7 years in the Royal Navy and has worked in the wine trade, in television and in the restaurant industry.

She's mum to three teenage children and dog called Bear. The family love being outdoors, walking and ski trips to Italy.

Tania was scouted for British Bake Off and Paul described her charcoal caramel cookies as "transcendent". She even got the hand shake.

SAM WATSON

Sales Administrator

Samantha is your first port of call when you contact Oxon about a new project. Sam will help you out with a free ball park quote and ensure your fully supported throughout your installation journey.

Sam lives in Oxfordshire with her family, including three daughters.

Sam is a qualified reiki healer and was partly responsible for healing David Beckham's injured metatarsal back in '02.

TOM WALKER

Apprentice

Tom joined the Oxon Energy apprentice scheme in 2022 already well into his plumbing journey and his NVQ qualification.

He earned his Oxon colours in September after being sent out for a long weight and a left-handed screwdriver.

In his spare time Tom likes riding his bike and he's got all 50 Cubs badges. He spends his weekends at Roman reenactments playing the role of Roman Emperor Tiberius Caesar Augustus.

REECE FISHER

Apprentice

Reece is the newest Oxon Energy apprentice and joined us in his second year of his Level 3 Plumbing NVQ qualification.

Reece is on his way to earning his Oxon colours and achieving the Wickens handshake with his patented style.

Another keen history buff, Reece is particularly interested in early paganism. He's also a life long Manchester United Fan.
