Our client lives in a Grade II listed property with stone walls. The insulation of the property was in keeping with the period - i.e. not that great! The clients took a fabric first approach and improved the insulation of the property before the heat pumps were installed.

They needed three ASHPs installed in a double and single array along their side return to provide the energy to keep their extensive property warm and snug.

The plant room was installed in the impressive basement below the kitchen,

"We're were on an oil fired boiler that kept going wrong and we wanted to go for something a little more environmentally friendly and cleaner...

The house was built in the 1820s and we were a little concerned it wouldn't work but so far it's worked really effectively"
